Judicial Watch: New Abedin Emails Reveal Top Clinton Foundation Executive Doug Band Sought Diplomati
Judicial Watch ^ | 9/1/2016

"The Abedin emails include a mid-August 2009, email exchange in which Band urges Abedin to follow up on a request from Newsmax CEO Chris Ruddy to set up a meeting with then-Ambassador to Panama Barbara Stephenson on behalf of lobbyist Amb. Otto Reich, President Reagan’s ambassador to Venezuela who maintained high-level government positions during the tenure of both President George H.W. Bush and President George Bush. In early September, Ruddy then was contacted by State Department Deputy Assistant Secretary for the Bureau of Western Hemisphere Affairs, Roberta S. Jacobson, at the behest of Band and Abedin, in reference to Ruddy’s concerns about Wilson Lucom, whose estate was embroiled in a heated multi-million-dollar lawsuit. Ruddy’s Newsmax Media Inc, made a contribution to the Clinton Foundation of between $1 million and $5 million. The emails show the responsible official was put in contact with Ruddy."

I don’t get it:

In 1988 or so maybe the PRIMO dirt on Bill Clinton was all WND and Chris Ruddy at Newsmax.

THEN, all of a sudden, Chris goes ALL ESTABLISHMENT, alllll country club, ALL THE TIME.

It’s SO WEIRD.

What in HELL HAPPENED...????

60 minutes at all did a FULL SCALE ATTACK on Chris Ruddy —they were bound and determined to completely DESTROY his credibility, call in an air-strike on his career.

It’s like Invasion of the Body Snatchers.

He is a really great guy, but this just does compute for me.

It would be like finding out Ronald Reagan was a closet vegetarian gay guy, or something.

You’d just sit there all day, astonished.

Yeah, Christopher Ruddy was a player in the impeachment wars, and not on the side of the Clintonistas.

This is an informative post.

Ruddy has been a clintonista for a while now. I stopped reading Newsmax because of it.

It was a double barreled gun.
Chris on one side, on the other side was Ambrose Evans-Pritchard, who now writes Cassandra-style economic doomsaying for the London Telegraph.

That makes this all the more embarrassing for Hillary because it feeds the narrative that, no matter who you are, all you have to do get buddy with the Clintons is fork up.

Perceptive post. The impeachment wars. Look where they all ended up. Ruddy, Kaisich, Graham, Hutchison. The only guy who lost out was Bob Barr, because, like a fool, he believed what he was doing was the right thing. The rest, all bought off.

Don’t forget, David Brock established himself investigating the Clintons during Bill’s administration. Look where he is now.

Everyone has a price; it just takes a while to find it sometimes.
