Indeed. A wise answer to a simple dilemma.
The winner is the American People who have entrusted this Court to preserve, protect, and defend the Consitution. Those who ask the Court to decide otherwise are not losers but simply people who have asked the Court to do that which the Court is not empowered to do.
I'm sickened by Sotomayor's statement, "she still marvels that she holds her position, noting she sits so close to the president at State of the Union addresses she can almost touch him."
The President sits so close to the Supreme Court at the State of the Union adresses that he can almost touch them, a co-equal branch of our government. Sotomayor owes her allegiance to the people of the United States, not Obama or any President. Let's hear what she has to say about this next year.

What a joke, a divorced rabid liberal fool of a woman complaining when she has a job for life, an easy job that requires no thought on her part except saying no to everyone who does not think like her. FUSS!
Sonia, how about stop thinking of yourself as a Hispanic and a woman, and start thinking of yourself as an American, following the wisdom of our Constitution!
