Seahawks to stand, interlock arms during anthem

Doug Baldwin promised the Seattle Seahawks would plan a demonstration of "unity" during the national anthem before Sunday's season opener against the Miami Dolphins on Sept. 11.
On Saturday, Baldwin revealed the team's plan to stand and interlock arms.
"We are a team comprised of individuals with diverse backgrounds," Baldwin said in the video. "And as a team, we have chosen to stand and interlock arms in unity. We honor those who have fought for the freedom we cherish. And we stand to ensure that the riches of freedom, and the security of justice for all people. Progress can and will be made only if we stand together."

Bad thing (IMHO).
I believe (despite the MSM’s attempts to sanitize and legitimize this BS), the NFL players are very much aware of the backlash building within the silent majority of US citizens that are outraged at their antics and idiocy.
We, the paying public, are the ones who hold the purse strings that allow them to make multi-million dollar salaries. Stop watching NFL games on TV. Stop buying tickets to the games. Boycott the products they endorse. Their livelihood will dry up overnight and they will all be on the street within a week’s time hussling blowjobs for beer money.

I don’t know if good thing or bad thing. I do know I watched the last 10 min of the Broncos/Panthers game. didn’t know the Bronco played took a knee. Was upset watching the game because of the flag ordeal.
I might not watch NFL this year. Deep sigh. They have taken away my Nascar and now Nfl. Baseball.....not yet.

Well, nobody can kneel while everyone else stands, but nobody can place their right hand over their heart, either. So, it’s still “look at us” grandstanding to a degree, when the attention should be upon the national anthem and showing respect for it.
From the wording of the announcement; a good thing.
That is a powerful quote. This will be important. Seeing all those guys, mostly black, standing in unity arm and arm celebrating America. Wow! One small victory for Americans, One giant lead for America.
I agree it sounds like a great thing compared to jackasses sitting.. which one has done already.. and it is true we are one nation under God..
