None other than Arizona Sen. John McCain defended Donald Trump’s recent comments about post traumatic stress disorder.
Trump was criticized for stating that unfortunately, veterans suffering from PTSD who end up committing suicide aren’t as “strong” as some of their comrades.
“When you talk about the mental health problems, when people come back from war and combat and they see maybe what people in this room have seen many times over — and you’re strong and you can handle it — but a lot of people can’t handle it and they see horror stories,” Trump told veterans at a campaign event on Monday.
McCain told the Arizona Daily Star on Tuesday that this interpretation is just evidence of “bias in the media.”

One of these damned-if-you-did, damned-if-you-didn’t moments for Donald.
This doesn’t imply squat about suicides, only about sufferers. A moral premise that Donald doesn’t even touch on here is needed to address the suicides question, but if a President Trump did not try to amp up the moral assistance to troubled vets then this would not be the Trump we have come to know.

And anyhow. Those hooting at Donald about this are just being silly. If Donald sympathized with vets who had a leg blown off, would that be grounds of accusing him of implying that they only had weak legs?
If that wasn't likely, he'd be totally in Hillary's corner. Except that it's an election year, so he's got to act like a Republican for a few more weeks.

Once again the Truth is slammed by the Left - some folks are emotionally tougher than others and while not always, those who have a strong relationship with God are among them.
