The so called gun show loophole is a leftist fiction. You cannot go to a gun show and buy from a dealer without the usual (and unconstitutional) background check. What they are in fear of is the private transactions that can be facilitated by the presence of like-minded people gathered at one location for a period of time. So exactly how would that proposed executive order be worded? Simply as a prohibition upon something (a private sale of an item of value) that is none of their business!
