You got my hopes up only to have them dashed by reality.
Just checked my account online and nothing for me.
I got one about this time last year, they adjusted my account for last years wages. Got the deposit and letter days later.
In 2008 I would have said nah that just crazy talk but now I know that could a complete viable explanation here in 2016 because our country has completely lost its everlovein mind because of the deception and lies of Obama the Manchurian Monkey Canididate and Soros, Inc
Ditto. My regular SS deposit is two weeks from today.
If you are still working or worked last year you could have increased the amount of benefit you are due. Twice a year SS runs the numbers on your most recent earnings and adjust backwards. It may be a small increase in your monthly payment that they owe you for 6 to 10 months ago
If that is it you should receive a letter in the next day to a week from now. Often the money comes several days ahead of the letter.
I’d wait and see before spending two hours on the phone waiting to talk to someone at SS just to confirm that.

Did you get it on the day you usually receive your SS? I’ve received nothing but my payment date for Oct has not yet arrived.
My deposit date will be NEXT Wednesday. This appears to be an increase, calculated over the previous 8 months of deposits, because I am still working and earning money. Sweetness.

Nope. Like someone else said, I wouldn’t spend it. There’s a very good chance if it’s an error they will demand it back.
Wed. is a deposit day for some beneficiaries. Don’t spend it they will want it back. If you have been working it might be an adjustment to your allotment.
