I just got a new SmartPhone and I am wanting to be able to watch live sports video feeds, particularly NFL and NBA, on my new iPhone 7 Plus..
Please post links and give me some advice as to the best ways to do this. I can provide more details on what I'd like to be able to do, if needed.
Thank you.
Advice: don’t waste your time.
Don’t feed the Liberal beast. Do something productive instead. Live your life, don’t let others live it for you.
On the official side, these leagues have apps that stream the games and the Red Zone channel (NFL). They are subscription-based ie require payment.
No endorsement implied but there are many sites that deliver streams of sporting events. From a phone/tablet perspective, however, most of these streams are unusable because they rely on Flash.
I won’t post sites or links here except to say that Reddit has subreddits dedicated to sports streams and will identify those compatible with iOS devices.
“Live your life, dont let others live it for you.”......
A major reason I DO NOT have a SmartPhone
TY
Not sure about NBA but NFL has an app you just need to enter your account number from a TV provider to use it.
Not worth the data either.
If you have Comcast/Xfinity they have a free App for that.
I am old, just now trying to catch up on rapidly advancing
technology. Yesterday I ordered a book “Android for Dummies”,
preparing to equip myself with some kind of cell phone.
so I can call the Senior Center to get a ride to grocery
store. What is a Smart Phone? I want to learn about all these new devices and the market to buy something. I would appreciate any comment you might have on shopping what is
now available.
Sit in the room in your home where the TV is. Tune the TV to your favorite NFL/NBA game, Hold up the phone in front of your face and record the images on the TV. Stream them if you like, this is how stupid people are at live events.
Directv app
Verizon user get nfl mobile for free you can watch all local games that would be on TV in your area on Sunday and all primetime Monday Sunday and Thursday night games
Thank you all. Guess I need to come up with a different plan. LOL.
1. Transferring funds to safe off shore accounts.
2. Packing up and arranging private flight for move to 10.5 million villa in Qatar.
Multiple apps. CBS/NBC sports. ESPN and the NFL app.
You’re going to eat data though. I’m grandfathered for unlimited data so I don’t worry about data. But I rarely do video on the phone, so I haven’t really used those apps, and you usually have to pay to play.
I do stream talk radio all day.
Thank you. My idea was to do this while I’m watching one of the games on the mainstream sports broadcasts on my HDTV, so I would be home using WiFi from my cable provider’s Internet for the streaming feeds on my iPhone. My cable provider gives me 300GB a month, so data usage will not be an issue.
My iPhone plan gives me 7GB per month at 4G, then it drops to the lower speed.
I am Grandfathered in for unlimited data also and do talk radio all day long.
So glad I kept the Data plan
Well, how well that works depends. Are you getting HDTV from sat, or cable? Who’s your ISP?
you might also want to check your TV provider (assuming it’s not OTA) for a mobile app. Many allow streaming of live channels. Availability of channels are gonna vary depending on provider. I can’t stream local channels on Directv.
TY.
What is your TV carrier? If you have Xfinity, you can download their app and get most of the stations on your phone.
