2 Louisville football players reportedly shot at off-campus party early Sunday morning

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Two University of Louisville football players were reportedly shot Sunday morning at an off-campus apartment.
The shooting happened around 2 a.m. on Manor Park Drive near The Retreat apartment community.
Officers found a male and female shot. Both were taken to University Hospital and are expected to recover from their injuries.

Sources close to the team tell WDRB News that junior linebacker James Hearns and sophomore linebacker Henry Famurewa were shot at a party at the apartment near the university.
Hearns, a native of Tallahassee, Fla, led the Cardinals this year with eight sacks and 11 tackles for loss. Famurewa, a Powder Springs, Ga., native, appeared in nine games and finished the regular season with 10 tackles and two sacks.
