Posted on 12/24/2016 3:03:53 PM PST by Skooz
Hey everyone. In what has become a Christmas Eve tradition, of sorts, I would like to wish all of those Freepers who, like myself, have for whatever reason found themselves alone this Christmas Eve.
I hope this thread can, as in previous years, serve as a gathering place for the solo folks who may otherwise have little or no contact with others on this celebrated evening.
You are not alone, really.
God bless us, God bless us everyone.
If you believe in God, you are never alone.
For myself, I’m about to sit down to a dinner of gifted cheese, crackers and sausage and enjoy one of my favorite Christmas movies — MST3K’s version of “Santa Clause.”
A true classic.
Just me and the wife. BBQ’ing pork ribs on the porch for Christmas. The beaches are too crowded so we’ll stay home and go to church in the evening
Merry Christmas Skooz and a better New Year.
Merry Christmas to you! Thankful that I have my children with me tonight as well as my parents. Tough month for me though after ending my 2 year relationship with my gf but we count all our blessings.
Well, kinda. I got the 2 pups here.
Merry Christmas to you, Zulu.
I wish you the same.
I am a hermit.
Have plenty of invitations but prefer to be alone.
I have spent it alone in the past.
Here in Mexico with my in-laws but even after 20+ years my Spanish still sucks so I will be FReeping more than anything.
No to worry, many are here.
I hope you remembered to get yoursel a nice gift (unless you were naughty, in which case you should have gotten yourself a REALLY nice gift!).
Thanks Skooz. :)
Yep. It might be the best one ever, too.
with one other watching football, tallying our fantasy finals. A race to the bottom but in all not a bad year...looking forward.
I guess that’s why God created Eve,
I’m spending Christmas alone. But I’m Jewish, so no big deal.
I would be with my brother and his family along with my sister and here son........but I have a sick pooch at home. She has cancer and is undergoing Chemo. I will likely make it for Christmas dinner but that is about it.
They had that on TV here in Mexico today — without the commentary of course.
It is apparently a tradition here, just like “It’s a Wonderful Life” up there.
>>Im spending Christmas alone. But Im Jewish, so no big deal.<<
Chinese food tonight? :)
