And NYers, having made that observation can't leave it at that or with a "Huh. Interesting that Texans are like that". Instead, their reaction is that we Texans must be prohibited from buying trucks; that penalties must be enacted that will discourage such buying behavior. Then these NYers can retire back in to their concrete and glass silos and bask in their sanctimonious smugness, having done their bit to save...uh...umm...well, something or other.
You forgot to add that they will also push for your state to be invaded and your ports to be blockaded until you get rid of your offending vehicles.
