I wonder how the Queen is doing. She had been sick. I think I heard that she was getting better. I hope that's true.

The REAL Princess Margaret, or the Pantomime Princess Margaret?

Very handsome as I recall.

Or, am I thinking of the Queen’s brother-in-law?

This is the Queen’s brother-in-law, or at least he was until he and the Queen’s sister divorced. The article says he was given his title after he married Princess Margaret; before that, he was Mr. Armstrong-Jones.

Snowdon was the Queen’s BIL by being married to Elizabeth’s sister, Margaret. There’s a good series on either Netflix or Amazon right now that includes Margaret getting permission to marry.

It does not appear that either of Princess Anne’s husbands was given a title.

He was not her first choice. That would have been Group Captain Peter Townsend, who was married but who was her true love.

This is how she looked going to the church....very hopeful.
Standing together after the ceremony, it looks like he had already started
sending her notes he was famous for.....about the reasons why he hated her.

Too bad she could not have married a certain American actor. "Lord Jack Lord" has a very cool ring to it.
