We own property up the road in Hawaiian Paradise Park. Last time we visited the lava dumping in the ocean we drove our rental car over the black stuff to get there. No hiking for me! Lol
It was a long hike and we only brought 2 bottles of water.
This is after jumping of the southern most point of Hawaii’s cliffs and swimming at the Black Sand Beach.
The next day we hiked down Pololu Valley and Waipi’o Valley. We both had crazy sore legs and bloody feet. Good times...
