Christopher Monfort, convicted of killing Seattle police Officer Timothy Brenton in 2009, was found dead in his cell Wednesday morning at the Washington State Penitentiary in Walla Walla, according to a spokesman for the state Department of Corrections.

Monfort, 48, who was convicted in June 2015 of aggravated first-degree murder for the ambush killing of Brenton and for wounding his partner on Halloween night 2009, was serving a life sentence. Paralyzed below the waist by a gunshot he suffered during his arrest six days later in Tukwila, Monfort was in deteriorating health by the time of his trial in King County Superior Court.

Good news delayed two weeks. I hope he died a long, slow, painful death. Being paralyzed below the waist means he had to have someone wipe his butt, he couldnt move without help, etc. Nothing he didnt deserve. Now he is where he deserves. Good riddance.

The murder of Timothy Brenton occurred on October 31, 2009, in the Central District of Seattle, Washington, United States. Timothy Q. Brenton (February 9, 1970 – October 31, 2009), an officer with the Seattle Police Department, was seated in a parked patrol car with another officer discussing a traffic stop when a gunman stopped his vehicle alongside the patrol car, opened fire on the two officers, and fled the scene. Brenton died at the scene and his partner sustained minor injuries.[1] One week later, as a public memorial service for Brenton was being held at KeyArena, the suspected gunman was apprehended and seriously wounded after being shot by police officers in Tukwila.
The shooting is believed to have been a targeted attack against police officers in general, not against either officer individually. The suspect arrested in connection with the murder has also been charged in connection with the October 22, 2009, firebombing of Seattle police vehicles at a city maintenance facility. Wikipedia

Good for him. It sounds like he just couldn’t bare the news that Obonzo didn’t pardon him.

Serving a life sentence. Given life for the premeditated ambush murder of a police officer. I lived in that hell hole of Satan Washington state for 15 years after I retired from the Army. One of the law firms I worked with was involved with the SPD union. We did lots of work for the cops when the stinking liberals of the city wanted to screw them into the concrete of 3d avenue. We are so happy we are now in my home state of Alabama. My wife had lived nearly her whole life in WA state before we met. She is happy in God’s country now, not Satan’s nest. Those pigs give a murderer life. He should have been put up against a wall and allowed the SPD to use him for weapons qualification.

Said weapons qualification should have included initial targets like genitals followed by knees and elbows, with heart and head left for last.

It took 5 and a half years from arrest to conviction of this wastage! At least we are done with him after a year+ in prison.

Actually, no! A paraplegic usually needs a wheelchair for movement but can do almost everything that a normal person does with their hands and arms. You may be confusing with quadriplegia, where motor control is lost in all or a portion of the hands / arms.

Yeah, yeah, I know, east of the Cascades is good country, and west of the Cascades is like North Korea.
