Many of the so-called junkies are people who have had serious operations - and are dealing with intense chronic pain as a result - are also being told they cannot have their regular pain medications due to changes in medical practices mandated by insurance and medical boards. Some are trying to get it on the black market and when they buy drugs laced with other agents end up with overdoses. (Mexican cartels are mixing a stronger pain killer into the Oxycontin because it is extremely addictive. This drug is so strong that even a small amount can kill. That’s why there are so many overdoses.)

Just a side note.

Why is it that these stories are always picked up by the Daily News or The Guardian in London?

Where is the US media? Too busy trying to destroy Trump?

Exactly.

The worst drug is the black tar heroin, much worse than the brown street heroin pushed by cartels. All black tar heroin come from one area in Mexico, pushed by illegal aliens, on orders to sell only to whites.

I don't know why the dealers, known as Xalisco Boys, are ordered to sell heroin only to whites. They are from Nayarit, Mexico and handle small quantities at a time, thus generally get a pass in the courts even though they target school children among others.

Black tar heroin is so addictive that for some it takes just one time to get addicted, and it has an exceptionally high rate of OD deaths. These dealers have destroyed many communities that previously had no heroin problem.

>If you don’t treat them, they will use whatever they are sold on the street.<

That isn’t necessarily so. Addition treatment today stresses getting patients to change the way they think. To change the way they behave. Sadly this produces a 33% success rate but it’s better than nothing and these people function quite well in society.

There aren’t enough doctors available for the number of people needing help at this point. The field is new and the regulations are many, convoluted and daunting.

You’re welcome. It is a very disturbing trend, with the black tar heroin dealers going after rural areas, suburbs, and working class neighborhoods.
