NASA on Thursday released pictures of Pan, one of Saturn's many moons, and its distinctive shape is drawing comparisons to flying saucers and stuffed pasta.

The images of the moon come courtesy of NASA's Cassini spacecraft, and reveal the UFO-like form of the tiny satellite, which has an average radius of just 8.8 miles. Cassini's Twitter account tweeted a gif showing the raw images.

According to NASA's website, Pan's strange shape comes from what is called an equatorial ridge, a characteristic it shares with one of its sister moons, Atlas.

The ridge has formed over the course of Pan's history because it orbits Saturn inside the planet's rings, collecting stray particles as it goes, said Preston Dyches, a spokesman for NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California.

“Well, Doc, to me, it looks like a chicken lying in a wheelbarrow playing a harmonica. What does that tell you about me?”

“You are one sick SOB. Get out of my office and never come back! Chicken in a wheelbarrow playing a harmonica. Crazy. Everyone knows it’s a Filet-O-Fish with the top half of the bun gone. Will someone please stop that bell ringing?”

Distracted by your tagline:
“If “Majority Rule” was so important in South Africa, why isn’t it that way here?.......”

The political philosophy involved is neo-Bolshevism: a universal democracy where a single party sets the voting agenda. So long as The Party has sole control of the agenda, they’re all for majority rule (knowing the designated outcome); if it’s not, they’ll do absolutely anything to subvert opposition parties until The Party has sole control. That’s why the Left is so utterly freaked out in the USA now: they were certain they’d have that control, but were completely blindsided by Trump whose mandate is to dismantle their system with a chainsaw before they have a chance to resume power.
