Is anyone else seeing more Free Republic server errors today?

We've all seen pages being slow to load / partial page loads for the last couple months. This goes beyond that. Two things I'm seeing:

1) Blank pages being "served". You hit a link, and get a blank page.

2) Connection errors - This is happening when posting a comment. When posting, I get a "server connection reset" error.

Is it time to swap out the hamsters running the FR servers for some fresh ones?

More seriously, maybe time for a server reboot and/or database indexing/clean up?

I don’t see much degradation from “normal” today.

I’ve had issues today where I tried to go to the page and it didn’t get served. More than once, it was a white page though the URL for the list of latest posts was shown in the URL bar.

When the blank page appears, the ‘reload’ is hit and thus far it seems to bring the proper page onto the screen.

Yes, I’m having problems also. Pages don’t want to load, I get a blank page. I hit the reload button and sometimes the page loads, sometimes not.

Another forum I visit had their servers messed with today, too. They’re up and running but someone seems to be messing with conservative forums.

I’ve experienced partial loads/very slow loads/no loads for a while. It can be difficult to respond to threads. At least I know it’s not something to do with my connection/computer.
