If someone loses a pet, no matter how, it may not be tragic to someone looking on but surely can be tragic for the owner.

So yeah, those creative dog names raise a red flag in the same manner as a clueless a$$ wearing a Che tee shirt. Those who name their children Moon Unit, Dweezle, Diva Thin Muffin, Audio Science, Blanket, Tu Morrow, Crimefighter, Jermajesty and Pilot Inspektor fall into the same dingbat category.

...if you give a dog a bad name... My neighbors named their wolf-shepherd hybrid "Astro.'
Every once in a great while he'd get out to go mooch treats from everyone. Somehow he could tell when the power was out and the electric fence wasn't working.
So they would call for him, and call for him when they got home from work.
Another neighbor's little boy heard them calling the dog when they first moved in. "Astrooooo, Assstrrrooo! Come here boy!"
He ran to his mother and said,"Mommy, why did they name their dog 'Asshole?'"

Given Name FIDO
GENDER: Masculine
USAGE: Pet
PRONOUNCED: FIE-do (English) [key]
Meaning & History
Means “I am faithful” in Latin. This name is commonly given to dogs
Canis Fidelis.
Same Latin root as “Fidel”
In reality, Castro was not worthy of an honor that rightly belongs to dogs.

She has to be very careful that they dont flop forward and drown in the bathtub. Hmmm... maybe there's a market for pug butt-weights.

Very true.
If it’s just one dog named Fidel I wouldn’t automatically assume they meant they were honoring a Cuban dictator... but I would if he had a mutt buddy named Raul.

Now that we’re talking about such things, I don’t recall ever meeting a dog named Adolph.
