Uncommon interests, for sure, but maybe this is how people like James Watson, Francis Crick and Rosalind Franklin got started in their careers/ vocations.

As you probably already know, (and I had to google) these three people are credited with discovering the structure of DNA way back in 1953.

Later on in 1962, Watson and Crick were among those awarded the 1962 Nobel Prize in Physiology for their discoveries concerning the molecular structure of nucleic acids and it’s significance for information transfer in living material.

Dr. Watson just had a birthday on April 6th.
He has made it to the great age of 89.
