In Microsoft Edge, if I right-click on a link, and select Open in New Tab, I want Edge to go to that new tab.
Is there a setting that will change its behavior, so it does what I want it to do?
I don’t use Edge ,but is there an Internet Options ,General and then a Tab button someplace maybe in window itself
Switch to Linux (Zorin is what I use) and kiss all your Windoze troubles goodbye.
By the way; Firefox is way better than anything MS has for browsing that records everything you do and where you go.
With all the Windoze systems getting hacked; it’s a good time to think about loading the free Linux OS on your existing Windows system so you can dual boot (you choose which OS to use).

Yes Zorin is nice ,you can even install your games with the Playonlinux ,just did it with SWTOR

learn to middle click links- works for me in regular ie- after awhile it becomes habit-
there is a setting you can change too=- at least there is in regular ie- you can have each link open in new tab- not sure exactly where the new tab option is located in setting though- i use firefox now with linux- so don’t recall the settings location for ie- but it’s htere soemwhere- no need to shift click links- I think htere is also an option to ‘switch to new tab immediately’ when a link/new tab is opened’ too-

With MS there’s ALWAYS a keyboard shortcut. Sure beats the touchpad, just have to learn them.
hmm- doesn’t look liek htere is one- way to go MS- onem ore step backerds-
Try the middle click on a link then- that opens links in new tab usually- takes a little gettign used to but it becomes automatic after awhile
Don’t have a 3 button mouse. But Control-Shift is OK for now.
