Just popping out for some milk: Shoppers snap the eccentric characters who roam the aisles of their local supermarkets
Ah the supermarket aisle: a mundane catwalk of everyday life.
But every so often, we come across characters so out of the ordinary that reality is briefly suspended.
These images, rounded up from across the world, showcase the shoppers so out-there, they simply had to be captured on camera.
In America, the sheer volume of these snaps is so great that a website exists to document them, the wildly popular People of Walmart.
Here, MailOnline presents a selection of photos submitted to the web which will if nothing else leave you scratching your head.
From the woman with platform heels so high it's a wonder she can steer the cart, to the underwear-clad couple who seemingly woke up one morning and just thought 'to hell with clothes'.

Walmart is like that car you drove for a while.
Thought is was bargain.
Thought you were “so smart” to know what nobody else knew.
Then you had to live with it, winter snow, spring rain, crazy repair bills. Then sanity returned and you sold it.
Better deals at other places, that are more convenient, less crowded and more appealing to the senses.
I would like to see a “Coexist” bumper sticker count on those Subarus at Whole Foods, on the new “People of Whole Foods” website.

The one picture of TSHIRT of Porn and Biscuts is a place in Outerbanks. Hubby and I stopped in there when we were in vacation. It is a carry out type place that also sells these Tshirts.
Where’s this “People of Whole Foods”? Walmart folk are boring. When we used to go to the city, we’d stop in at the Whole Foods parking lot to have a giggle. Pasty unhealthy looking hippies.
The snowflakes who work at Whole Foods need a new bumper sticker -
“Coexist” As long as you agree with me 100% of the time

Speaking of ‘Coexist’, does any know where I can find a copy of the ‘Coexist’ gif where the Islamic Crescent ‘C’ eats the rest of elements like a Pacman.
I used to have a copy of it, but now I can’t find it anywhere, including searching on line.
The article asks for an explanation of the horse shoes. I think the man is a bronie.
They need a bumper sticker that says, "Coexist with Amazon".

Everybody gets their kicks at the people of Walmart. I wonder what kind of scorn you would face for posting pictures from the clientele at your local welfare office.
