A billionaire Clinton Foundation donor has struck a deal with the U.S. government to settle a lawsuit over leaks that indicated he was fundraising for a U.S.-designated terrorist organization.
Gilbert Chagoury, a Nigerian-born businessman who lives in Lebanon, filed a lawsuit last September against the FBI, CIA, Department of Justice, and several other agencies over leaks that "improperly impugned" his reputation and denied his constitutional rights, Politico reported Monday.
News reports surfaced last year that Chagoury, who contributed millions to the Clinton Foundation and pledged $1 billion to the Clinton Global Initiative in 2009, was denied entry into the United States in 2015 due to his connection to a Lebanese organization allied with Hezbollah, a State Department-designated foreign terrorist organization.
Chagoury later filed a lawsuit in a Washington, D.C. federal court charging that the State Department refused to grant him a visa because of "false information." He said that the government "compounded this injustice" by leaking information about the incident to a Los Angeles Times reporter, who wrote about his banned entry into the country.
Maybe Trump should sue. ;-)
The suit initially looked to have the potential to set precedent because it sought recourse under the Judicial Redress Act, a 2016 law protecting the privacy rights of foreigners. However, Chagoury later dropped that element of the case.
A BILLIONAIRE Nigerian who lives in Lebanon and has “constitutional rights” in America? Is this the Nigerian who keeps sending those emails to everybody? Where is he getting his billions from?
So, the Clintons get to keep this batch of dirty money? Nice work FBI.
But that's not to stop the Deep State holdovers from Obama & the Clintons from giving them all their money can buy. And while we can't stop hearing about Trump-Russia "collusion" the following is buried as the last sentence in this article and will appear nowhere at all in the establishment liberal media:
"State Department emails released in August 2016 showed that a top Clinton Foundation associate in 2009 pushed to set up a meeting between Chagoury and the U.S. ambassador to Lebanon because of the billionaire's affairs in the region."
We heard about HilLIARy’s taking over $200,000,000.00 in bribe/ contribution monies from Islamonazi/.muslim dictatorships ,,,and all her sorozNazi backing. And now this ?! How long is she (and of course obama and soroz ) going to allowed to remain free?! Forget about president Trump’s 10 day wonder press secretary. This buyout of the D party brass by enemies of America — is super- serious.
The incompetence of government and total disregard for the rule of law is destroying our nation.
I digress. Our President said,"She (Hillary Clinton)has been through enough". That is a very naive statement considering the left NEVER gives up and the next election cycles will be pure hell and status quo for the Swamp and shadow governments of Obama and Clinton.
America is a joke.
“So, the Clintons get to keep this batch of dirty money? Nice work FBI.”
Yes. From the original report in Politico:
Under the settlement, Chagoury is essentially dropping the lawsuit, but he managed to extract a confirmation from the government that he’s never been on a U.S. sanctions list and that financial institutions are free to do business with him.
Chagoury has been a supporter of Bill and Hillary Clinton since the 1990s. He has funded their election campaigns and is a major donor to the Clinton Foundation.
Worth a read.
> Not punishing all things Clinton will come back to haunt us.
Already has. See China, North Korea.

Sure draws a clear picture, thanks.
