There’s an FR member who posts often who claims to be a personal friend of Charles and says we have Charles all wrong. He claims he is very conservative, a practicing Christian, deeply patriotic the only thing we would take issue with him is his sentimental environmentalism. This guy claims Charles takes his constitutional duties of no interference in UK politics so seriously that much of what we think we know about him is defined by the UK press.
There it is believe it or not, but it would interesting if indeed true. Imagine the press lying ? Say it ain’t so Joe / sarcasm!

The king who became George IV was Prince Regent for George III.
The Queen pledged at her coronation that she would dedicate her entire life to the service of her country. She won’t abdicate, but may scale back her duties. She’ll die on the throne, I expect.
I thought that title had been reserved for Diana, the Adulteress of Wales.

I’ve seen posts by that person but I do not believe him.
The queen is not stepping down, she will be queen till she dies.
Charlie will only be regent till then, he gets the job he’s always wanted, she gets to put her feet up at 95 and she’s still queen.
As prince regent he does not get to ware the Kings crown and Camilla (insert young Frankenstein horse Winnie here) won’t be queen.
I guess she could die. That would change things, but she shows no signs of poor health and a complete resolve to keep Charles from the crown.
I’m skeptical but willing to listen.

I was just at the grocery store. All the tabloids say it’s a done deal: Kate is Queen.
