For the last three weeks, Buddhist-majority Myanmar has systematically slaughtered civilians belonging to the Rohingya Muslim minority, forcing 270,000 to flee to neighboring Bangladesh — with Myanmar soldiers shooting at them even as they cross the border.
“The Buddhists are killing us with bullets,” Noor Symon, a woman carrying her son, told a Times reporter. “They burned houses and tried to shoot us. They killed my husband by bullet.”

The poor Rohingya Muslims this past July started a widespread civil war against everyone else in Myanmar. Their civil war was financed by Saudi Arabia and now that they’re losing they’re crying to the West to help them against those bad old Buddhists that they were trying to subjugate.
Screw them and three cheers to Aung San Suu Kyi for defending her country against Islamic extremists!
But I was told that buddhists were pacifist vegetarians....

The NYT is not telling the full story. Muslim’s from Bangladesh are coming into the west coast of Burma to cause trouble. The Burmese govt has every right to protect its people and land.
This is what happened in Bangladesh to the Hindus in the later part of the 20th century. They destroyed Hindu Temples and killed and drove out all non-Muslims. A very good book on it is “Shame” by Taslima Nasrin.
And the coup de grace is the MUSLIM U.N. "Human Rights" chief calling it "genocide." I pray Aung Sun Suu Kyi stands firm against this evil.

They want to use that time to re-group, and bring in heavier weapons.

Her crime, in Kristoff's opinion, is failure to adhere to the media narrative with sufficient public condemnation. It's the same complaint we heard with regard to Trump's lack of condemnation of racist violence in Charlotte, which in fact he did, but not in terms that met media approval. Failure to advance the narrative is now a thought crime.
The Guardian let slip this little gem:

There is an organized insurrection against the Government and native people of Myanmar. It is another Wahhabi islamist group, funded by Gulf Arabs - like ISIS, al Queda, and company. It is accompanied by waves of ilegal muslim immigration into Myanmar from muslim-dominated Bangladesh.
You would not know that from most Western news reports though - only that Buddhists are brutal, bigoted racists, who are abusing innocent women and children.
Muslims complain mightily when their victims fight back.
What’s also interesting is how the NY Times now emphasize a new name for her “Daw Suu.”
Ang Sang Syu Ki was a nobel prize winner who we feted and loved. Let’s not mention her anymore

Anyway, yet another example of Muslims being the murderous savages bent on conquest of “infidels” that they have always been, and proof once again that condemnation of Islam is not racist.
I think I detect a pattern here.
Why not go cry to the Armenians and the Yazidi and get some sympathy?
I have told folks that “the common denominator in all your failed relationships is you”. It seems that observation also applies to group dynamics.
