The NYT is not telling the full story. Muslim’s from Bangladesh are coming into the west coast of Burma to cause trouble. The Burmese govt has every right to protect its people and land.
This is what happened in Bangladesh to the Hindus in the later part of the 20th century. They destroyed Hindu Temples and killed and drove out all non-Muslims. A very good book on it is “Shame” by Taslima Nasrin.
I read somewhere that the muzzies are causing problems in Thailand also. We can expect that the Thai will push back. Orientals don’t accept the muzzie crap that Europeans and Americans do.
