Thank you Roger Goodell and the NFL
Vanity ^ | 9/25/17 | pgyanke

I've seen so much hate thrown at Goodell and the NFL that I thought I would give them a personal shout-out of gratitude!

Thank you for giving me back my Sunday afternoons and Monday & Thursday evenings.

Thank you for giving me more time with my family.

Thank you for giving me more clarity on my own beliefs. What you disrespect, I hold sacred.

Thank you for putting more money in my wallet as I finally cancel cable. ESPN was about the only reason I had it anymore.

Thank you for showing your true colors in disrespecting the colors I hold true.

Thank you for showing your true contempt for America before we wasted even more time and treasure on you.

Thank you for showing that your outreach to veterans and our servicemen and women was only a cynical business calculation. We can now devote our efforts to those who truly care about them.

Thank you for giving me an excellent example of what not to do as a business owner.

If your employer encourages you to bring your personal, political grievances to work... against written company policy... to blast at your customers... to the detriment of your business... you work for idiots.

I have given up on the NFL and have switched over to the NHL for my sport of choice.

and have switched over to the NHL for my sport of choice.

The Canadians, Russians, Swedes and Czechs playing there always stand respectfully for our anthem.

I did some research on Goodell and it seems that one of his brothers is married to a man. That ‘splains somethings to me, Lucy.

Hockey camps are open!

NEW YORK — The NHL’s 2017-18 regular season will commence Wednesday, Oct. 4, with a four-game slate, highlighted by the Pittsburgh Penguins raising their fifth Stanley Cup championship banner before facing the St. Louis Blues at PPG Paints Arena. The 1,271-game regular-season schedule - 82 games per team - will conclude Saturday, April 7, 2018.

The other three games on the first night of the 2017-18 season include the Toronto Maple Leafs visiting the Winnipeg Jets at Bell MTS Place; the Edmonton Oilers hosting the Calgary Flames in a Battle of Alberta at Rogers Place; and the San Jose Sharks playing host to the Philadelphia Flyers at SAP Center.

After closing Joe Louis Arena last season, the Detroit Red Wings will open their new home, Little Caesar’s Arena, on Thursday, Oct. 5 against the Minnesota Wild.

Funny how freedom of speech in the work place is OK when its politically correct.

But not so much when you ask who's paying for the train... the train that goes to the stadium...the stadium by the brewery... the brewery owned by the governor... the governor whose crony friends own the Bank... the Collectively-owned Bank who makes $$ financing the construction of... everything along those tracks.

Yep.

Funny how that works - right Mile-High Jesuit-Orange Cube Fans?

Living in the gay infested Frisco area, we stopped watching the former niners last year when their Colon overloaded the brains of the owners. Then, our boycott of the NFL came quickly after they allowed the Former Niner’s Colon to control them. That allowed the BLM/Muslim cancer from Colon to spread to the NFL!

I immediately realized the freedom gained by not watching the Local former Niners and the National Felon league. My wife and I spend more quality time together. I am about caught up on a year’s of honey do lists.

Then, in Jan Comcast increased our monthly bill by $25/month and tried for another $25 increase in July. ESPN and Disney got a big chunk of our monthly bill and that increased with the price increases.

So, we cut our cable and went to internet streaming. We used Sling Blue and Orange as our streamer provider.

A little over a week ago, a relative informed us that Sling Blue does not carry ESPN or Disney. A few minutes later, I had cancelled our Sling Orange, and we only use Sling Blue.

So the NFL/ESPN/Disney thugs no longer get $’s from us with our cancelled Comcast, now, they don’t get any monthly money from our cancelled Sling TV Orange.

Life is good without the NFL/ESPN/Disney/Comcast/Sling Orange, and we are saving well over a $100/month.

Seahawks ticket prices are tanking on the secondary market, but it’s hard to say how much is due to protests vs their garbage play on the field.
