I'm confused on the vaccination issue. If virtually every other kid in the school has been vaccinated against diseases, what are the chances of this lady's kid getting a disease that he wasn't vaccinated against?

Who's going to be sick with it if everyone's been protected against it?

“Who’s going to be sick with it if everyone’s been protected against it?”

Seriously? Are you that daft? Or a millennial.

most dogs are vaccinated against rabies and distemper. Unvaccinated dogs still get rabies and distemper.

It is called “Herd Immunity” and the problem is that a critical mass of people are buying the very discredited link between autism and other maladies and vaccinations.

There have been outbreaks of measles and mumps in schools in the last few years from people “exercising their rights” to the detriment of others.

Parents don’t want to vaccinate? Then home school at your expense and keep your whelps away from other kids.

Some vaccinated people never develop the protective antibodies. For example, I was vaccinated for Hepatitis B but never responded with antibodies. Even though I am vaccinated against Hep B, I could get the disease as easily as someone who had never been vaccinated.

This is why “herd Immunity” is so important in preventing epidemics. If nearly everyone has the antibodies, it is not as likely to spread to those who didn't respond to the vaccination or, who for health reasons, can not be vaccinated.

It's not really about vaccinations. It's about socialists who want to control every aspect of your life.
