Michael Bennett says Colin Kaepernick resolution needed before more talks with owners

Seattle Seahawks defensive lineman Michael Bennett said that before NFL players and the league can move forward with their conversations about working together on social causes, the issue of Colin Kaepernick's unemployment must be addressed.

"I think the first step to even being able to even have a conversation is making sure that Colin Kaepernick gets an opportunity to play in the NFL," Bennett said Wednesday. "I think before we even negotiate anything about whether we sit, whether we stand [during the national anthem], it should be a negotiation about opening up the doors for Colin Kaepernick and giving him an opportunity again, because I feel like through everything, that's been lost.

Offer him a job for the league minimum.

For the sake of “social justice”, how about we make sure there are equal white players to black players?

This is what it’s all about. Taking over the NFL from whitey.

Let the players have it. It’ll be gone in a season or two.

I said this weeks ago. Goodell and the owners created a Frankenstein monster, and now the monster is running the league.

Bennett opening his pie hole is probably the reason Seattle ended up not signing Kaep. Stuff I heard on talk radio is Russell Wilson is considered an oreo, black on the outside white on the inside, by the other African-Americans in the locker room. The sentiment was Kaep if signed should start ahead of Wilson.

Colin Kaepernick is no Michael Vick, end of discussion and his career

Sorry Michael but that just ain’t going to happen since Krappernick has filed a lawsuit against the owners. The last thing you want is a person in the same room with you who is suing you.

Hey! Not only has he accomplished a coup over Goodell, he’s written his first Executive Order! “The NFL comes to a screeching halt until he, Kaepernick, gets a $10+ Million per year gig with an NFL team.” Suck on THAT a while, fans!

Kaep’s arm and mouth are making him unemployable in the NFL...

I grew up in the Pac NW, and for the past 2 seasons couldn’t stomach watching the Seahawks. Bunch of aholes on that team starting with this POS.

Wasn’t it proven - with video evidence - that Michael Bennett completely lied about his encounter with the Seattle police?

I am advocating that the NFL Players go on Strike until Kapernick is signed to a team and is made the team’s starting quarter back.

Who appointed Michael Bennett head of the NFL BLM Chapter?
And Kaepernick does have a resolution (= no active job offer), it’s just not the resolution he would prefer.

Sounds like the LOSER PLAYERS that are Leftist run the league and not the owners.

When I listened to the putz Roger Goodell speak yesterday. All I heard was weakness. The guy is a total Beta-cuck.

What a disgrace and sad to see what this pathetic worthless piece of trash did to the NFL. No wonder why the players run it with weak leadership like Goodell. What a joke!

Good job Goodell you jack@ss!

Why not set every damned one of those assets down, and say it like it is. YOU people signed on to play ball. You signed on with a company whose business it is to play ball. You as a player are an asset of the company for the purpose of playing ball. Your playing ball allows the company to make money of which your negotiated salary is derived.

There is a rule book that states what the rules are, and you were responsible to read, and understand those rules before you signed on as an asset in this company whose business is to play ball. You agreed to the rules in that rule book. You will abide by those rules in that rule book you read, and agreed to abide by, or you will no longer be an asset of this business that plays ball by the rules you agreed to.

Play ball for the business, take the paycheck you are entitled to by contract with the business entity you agreed to, keep your mouth shut, and the customers will come to the ball park with their money to pay for the tickets to see you play ball by the rules you agreed to.

IF you don’t like being an asset of a business, then quit, and go do something you like to do. It’s just that simple.

So the whole protest thing is bogus if signing Kaepernick will end it.
