Its not the worst idea I’ve ever heard.

One good thing about these reboots, is that it keeps the original series alive (to some degree). Otherwise, it would just slowly fade away with its fans.

They destroyed Hawaii-5-0 and they’ll do the same here.

I was a huge fan back in the day and still watch the reruns. I can’t imagine a remake. Will they use the Afghan war as the backdrop for Magnum? Higgins was such a force in the original as also a veteran of another war so how is a woman going to replace him?

There is no way this will end well.

One of the few shows I watched in the 80’s. I wonder if it’s available on HULU, Sling or some other non-cable venue.

There can be only one Magnum, one Higgins and two lads. Sorry.

Oh yeah, Rockford with his dilapidated trailer sitting right on a lot, on PCH in Malibu. Probably worth 600k back then...
But I must confess, Rockford was pretty good. Way better than the guy in Hawaii...That was cartoon land for the easily entertained.

I'm still waiting for a remake of the TV show The Fugitive, this time instead of a doctor falsely accused of murdering his wife, an illegal alien on the run for killing people while DUI.

“Jesse Stone” — little known but fantastic Selleck shows! Loved all of them.

He has sure gotten promoted:
PI in Hawaii
Police Chief in small Mass town
Police Commissioner in NYC

This will be a scoldy, whiney, crappy one.

With actors not quite sure when or where the Viet Nam war was.

Have all the seasons on DVD.

Same with Miami Vice.
