I’d call that a chain gun.
I saw it and my brain went to chain saw (guess what I’ve been doing).
But - I wonder if one could modify a chain-saw blade so it would flex more for whipping around. (leave two links together, put in a loop of regular chain, repeat) Carrying it around would be problematic - but it would leave some nasty cuts.
