Not sure what you mean . . . Fox in Dallas broadcast the anthem and seventh inning stretch last night.

Sure hope baseball does not fall into the same pot hole with the National Felon League.

Ditto what you said. Perhaps it’s a random question?

I watched it last night on Fox 11. The players were all standing at attention and showing th utmost respect. It was beautiful.

The anthem was done very well before the game, aired in Fox Go. I think it was God Bless America for the 7th inning. All the players stood respectfully during the anthem...made me proud and I’m returning to watch game 2 tonight.

They did it during the pre-game time between 7-8pm ET.

What channel/frequency were you on??

You should ask for this thread to be pulled.

As others have told you...our National Anthem WAS beautifully sung and, all players stood, with hand over heart (as far as I could tell).

I saw a few fool Dodger fans, in front row, who stood but had no hand over heart.

My nephew was at the game, sent me a picture of the pregame ceremonies, which included a huge flag, one that covered most of the outfield, on display. It looked great!

If MLB is smart they can take back a lot of fans lost to the NFL over the years. Just continue being reverent about flag and country and get rid of that putz catcher from Oakland. Might tick off the never Americaers but they never liked America’s pastime to begin with.

Just looked at it again. Both teams are lined up on the baselines, no one is kneeling, though the anthem likely was not yet being played. Flag appears to be held by a mix of various people in uniform.

Especially when probably 1/3 of those guys aren’t even US citizens.

My FOX station showed it.

Massive applause during the fly-over, too.

Good - we still have at least one American sport left.

The kneeling MLB player was busy with a server not wanting to serve him. Sad that this minor player was there with so many politicians.

Experience is the best teacher; even better if it's someone else getting the hard knocks.

I leisurely watched last night suffering in the same 103 temp. (We live by the beach and don't have A/C.) The MLB demonstrated how a sporting event should be run. Have a nice pre-game ceremony & 7th inning stretch, commentators focus on sports & the game-within-the-game aspect, and let the game itself dictate the flow & emotion.

Simple, right? It's crazy how far off track the NFL got, but hey, someone has to take the arrows. All the other leagues - pro & college - got the message.

The NFL deserved every arrow they got. The owners, leadership and a significant part of the players were essentially giving the middle finger salute to the country which made them rich and famous. Sort of like George Soros does.
