LAS VEGAS - The federal trial against Nevada cattleman Cliven Bundy, his two sons, Ammon Bundy and Ryan Bundy, and Ryan Payne began Monday with prosecutors and defense lawyers questioning potential jurors about their beliefs on guns, protests, the government, ranching and the impact of the Oct. 1 mass shooting on the city's famous strip.
Ryan Bundy, representing himself, had his leg shackles removed and then posed his own questions from a podium before a group of nearly 50 potential jurors.
"I am a true Nevadan. I was born on Nevada Day," he said, referencing Halloween -- the day Nevada was declared a U.S. state. He'll turn 45 Tuesday. "I thank you for being here. It's been a long time coming.''

Yes, and lots of people heavily discount WND as a source. I actually like Joseph Farah. I’ve had a couple of exchanges with him directly. Had to do with some congressional vote posts I made back in 2009.

When it was posted this morning, the moderator shut it down and said it should be chat.

Carol Bundy pointed out in a video posted a month or two back that Attorney General Jeff Sessions should put this prosecution to an end.
She also said that Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke should drop the complaint with the Justice Department that led to the prosecution.
President Trump has his pardon powers.
Judge Navarro sent a guy who pled guilty over this, Jerry DeLemus, to prison for 87 months calling him a “vigilante bully”.
Jerry DeLemus was co-chair of Veterans for Trump during the New Hampshire Primary last year.
There’s a pardon waiting for presidential attention immediately.

Thank you. I am interested in how it proceeds. I never supported most of what went on there and in the wildlife preserve.
But the publicity at the time drawn toward Harry Reid and his involvement made the BLM back away in the Bunkerville incident.
I believe the non-traditional media prevented this being worse than it was.
Not that I am aware. But the family members have been arrested a very long time. I’m sure they are broke by now.
A third trial...this is insane. This is purely political. Sessions needs to put a stop to this.
