South of there
I have stopped eating granola and oatmeal for breakfast and over 6-8months I lost 20+lbs. I am also moving around more. That is all it took for me to lose...
I stopped eating all grains and starches.
Our hot states with high rates of obesity.
My take is that in those hot states people are blowing out their systems by eating heavy diets that are more suitable to a Minnesota farmer or outside laborer of 60 years ago. They get fat, diabetic then obese. They are not working off their intake of heavy foods.
Plus drinking iced tea and iced drinks at meals is awful for digestion of heavy meals.
Shouldn't that be "fatspots?"
Time was, people used to say that the fattest people were in the heavily German-American Midwestern states.
Not anymore, I guess.
Nothing I said disagrees with that
True words

Under socialized medicine, people who put in the effort to live healthy have to subsidize the fatties that make poor life decisions.
I lost 50 pounds in 6 months by not eating on the weekends (48 -72 ) hours and mostly sleeping. Light meals during the week. No food past 6 pm each night
