MORE

Nevada is the state with the highest percentage of overweight adults, followed by Alaska and New Jersey tied for second and Montana and Florida.

The report revealed the highest amount of obese adults are found in Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, West Virginia, and Arkansas, which has become a trend due to disparities in healthcare in the Appalachian region.

Obesity rates in those states have nothing to do with disparities in healthcare. It is cultural differences. Being thin in an area like New York City is culturally approved. No one wants to be fat in areas that promote fashion , and looking good.In the areas that have high obesity rates, there is no cultural norm to be thin. Fat is accepted. Exercise is not accepted in the culture.

Heh... Texans trail us by one. Dammit Texans, go eat some brisket. You can do it. Extra helpings would rocket you to #10. Here in Indiana we are going to eat an extra tenderloin sandwich with extra mayo to keep it competitive.
