I don’t believe asking a teenage girl between 16 and 18 out on a date is a “crime against teenage women.” The ONLY concern should be with the one who claims to have been 14. Personally, anyone waiting 38 years to level charges just a few weeks from an election is doing it for political reasons, and probably for money.
Why even keep your mouth shut about it during the Republican primary as it might have helped the GOPe’s preferred candidate?

From what I heard, his name cannot be removed from the ballot at this time. It's simply too late.

It would be stupid (and probably illegal) to postpone an election based on unproven allegations from four decades ago. Ridiculous.

One question — Did she receive financial compensation, and or receive promises of future compensation? If so from who?
Notice the careful parsing of words in the quote. It says she did not “seek” financial compensation, it doesn’t say she hasn’t received financial compensation or promises of future compensation.
People do not come forward gratuitously to involve themselves in a public smear campaign unless there is something in it for them. What is the prize?
Why do you bring that up? Do you want him to?
The accusation of providing liquor at a restaurant has been debunked by noting the county in which this purportedly happened was dry at the time of the date and could not have happened.
Look at what the Dems did in New Jersey after Torrecelli. Don’t let a serious crisis go to waste. Moore would be batter as Attorney General and Jeff can go back to the Senate.
It should also be noted that te accusation was she was served in a restaurant. Not even a reasonable lie since it would have been the waitstaff acting under cover of law that purportedly provided liquor to a minor, not the judge.
20 years ago, I had a girl friend whose parents were from Alabama. Her mom was only 10 years older than me because she got married when she was 16! Her father was 25 when they got hitched. This is normal in Alabama, and the people of Alabama know this and will vote accordingly.
