Around 1985, I attended a 13 week training session in Dallas.
There were maybe 15 of us and the first thing we did is stand up and introduce ourselves, tell where we were from and a little bit about ourselves.
One agent who was based in Dallas mentioned that he had known Jack Ruby pretty well.
A week or two later maybe six of us were having lunch at a nearby restaurant including the guy who knew Ruby. During the conversation the subject of Ruby came up.
The guy told us that he didn’t know any more about the assassination than anyone else but did know that Ruby was in with the mob much more than had been alleged. He wasn’t just a hanger on etc.
The mob had him front for them in Dallas.
I’ve heard Ruby was told he was going to die of cancer so as a mobster he’d do the hit and his would be taken care of.
Who gained the most? L.B.J. Who lost the most other than J.F.K.?
His brother Robert.
And why was there an FBI informant there?
Tracking Ruby, in a mob investigation?
Or something else?
Ruby worked for Alan Dofrman, who worked for Jimmy Hoffa.
He had mob connections from way back.
The CIA and the mob were running guns to Cuba (and Ruby was involved).
