As it is, I wouldn’t give women between the ages of 18 to 40 the correct time of day, and avoid them like the plague, especially in the workplace.

LOL... I am thinking earnings and looks in that order for post college women. For women/girls still in school, it would just be looks and “fun”. Personality/character/stablity is pretty much a non-factor.
I wonder if this study was confined to the Northeast (that's where the school is located)? If so, the results are unsurprising. If you are looking to marry one from this region, you have about an 85% chance of landing one of the "darlings" that they interviewed for this study.
Actually, the Tinder data is remarkably consistent with the 80-20 rule that is wreaking havoc on the rising generation.
The 80-20 rule says that 80% of the women are willing, and perhaps eager, to mate with 20% of the men. What this means in practice is harems for the top 20% of men, and lots and lots of frustration as the 60% of the women who are putting out but not getting a “relationship” get ground down and replaced by the next 5-years younger cohort.
Tinder says that the match ratio is 78-22, that is, 78% of its female clients find 22% of the men acceptable for mating.

Now with no strings attached hook-up sex, most men will not qualify. Because men are more anxious to do it than women. Women are not idiots, they know they are at the strong end of the negotiation there. They are giving up what they want and need the most by the nature of hook-up sex at all--commitment and real caring--so they are going to pick the best of their options. Over time they learn they don't have to settle for the average guy for such activities.
They didn’t talk about the money factor.
