The Seahawks had several chances late in Sunday's game to beat the Jaguars in Jacksonville but their fate was sealed after Russell Wilson failed to convert on fourth down with just over two minutes to go. And that's when things got interesting.
With Seattle out of timeouts and 54 seconds remaining, Jacksonville lined up in the victory formation to seal their 30-24 lead. On the play, defensive lineman Michael Bennett was rightly penalized for unnecessary roughness and teammate Sheldon Richardson was ejected for starting a brawl. Not to be outdone, a snap later, defensive lineman Quinton Jefferson was ejected for unnecessary roughness -- and for good measure, coach Pete Carroll was hit with an unsportsmanlike-conduct penalty after, ironically enough, coming onto the field to implore his players to quit getting stupid penalties.
The two teams lined up for one more kneel down, and as Jefferson made his way to the locker room he was almost nailed by what appeared to be a drink thrown from the stands. At this point, Jefferson made a sharp left to confront the fan(s) in question. yelling towards the front row while being restrained by Seahawks officials. Already hot, Jefferson lost his mind after he was almost hit in the head by another flying object (it also appeared to be a drink), and tried to climb into the stands.

Thankfully, Jefferson never made it and was eventually ushered into the locker room.
Needless to say, the league will be looking into this and in addition to heavy fines, there could be suspensions in the Seahawks' future.
I almost wish I had watched the game...
A surprising amount of what makes the news these days can be directly attributed to poor impulse control.
Surprised that there were any fans in the stands to attack.
America hating thugs. It’s falling apart.
Seahawks trying to out-thug the Raiders on the field. Jefferson was ejected from the game when he reached the tunnel a couple of A-holes in the stands threw stuff at him.
They all deserve a grade A ass kicking.
I’ve found that Sunday afternoons and Monday nights are great times to wire brush my garden tools and paint them.
The person(s) who threw the drinks should be arrested.
The player did not do anything during the game. I would not care if he had kicked his ass.
Seattle acted like spoiled brat punks in the last minute or so of Superbowl XLIX too so this shouldn’t be a surprise.
Can't make this stuff up.
National Thug League, the NTL.
Should have knelt.
The national felon league is now a knee slapping joke. No body watches that crap any more.
Nah, they won’t do anything to him. He was protestin’.
They couldn’t just all take a knee?
Nobody Watches anymore.
I feel a Little misty for those that do,
of course they are lame brained losers
THAT can’t communicate in Full sentences.
The Seahawks are a bunch of thugs. they have been in trouble before in and out of the press. And I find it disingenuous for Pete Carroll tosay anything as the reason he is in the NFL is because he cheated and got caught by the NCAA while coaching at USC,
And Michael Bennett is a real piece of work along with Richard Sherman. Bennett does a series of commercials for a plumbing company up here where he comes out of no where and belts the competition then hands out the name of the one that is paying him. I guess if you’re 12 years old you might find that funny. An adult wouldn’t. An adult wouldn’t put himself in a position like he did in Las Vegas, after having a supervisor explain the situation to him that he understood, then turn around and make public statements about the situation about the cops is consistent with someone wanting just to make trouble.
And getting penalized for roughness when the other team is taking a knee to end it, is absolutely classless. But then again, so are many of the Sea Hawks. Maybe they should grasp their arms together to show solidarity to being good citizens and not show youth how many are nothing more than animals. Like I said, classless.
