It is important for people to understand and keep in mind that if they’ll do this to a confederate grave, they’ll do it to a grave at Arlington or anywhere else, to anybody else. No question about it.
It is clever, in the sense that very few of the political class has either the brain power or the stones to recognize what’s really happening and they cannot figure out a way to address this without being branded as confederate slave-holding sympathizer or whatever. That’s the purpose of the entire debacle, guaranteed these radical groups has a database of every known confederate cemetary, grave stars & bars corner on the map. This provides an opportunity to agitate, and gain publicity, stir shit up and generally cause trouble. Right out of the lefty playbook.
