With the advent of the College Football Playoffs, the non CFP bowl games have become more meaningless than they were before. There have been a handful of competitive well played games, but for most contests, it is obvious neither team cares.

I think it proves that the college football overlords can’t really judge teams properly.

Big 10 is 6 and 0 I believe in bowl games. Clearly they are better than anyone gives them credit for. They should have played tougher teams in bowl games. SEC only has 1 win so far and that’s over a 3rd place Atlantic conference team. They should have paired up more SEC teams against the weak Pac12. And let the three tougher conferences play each other.

and neither do their alumni and the rest of their fans considering how empty the stadiums are ...
