What's fun with music videos is to take a song that tells a particular story - like Jackson's putting up and breaking down the stage during his music tours - and set the song in a completely different context, where it tells a completely different story. That's why I call these Literary Music Videos.

Just finished a brand new video for "Adoration of the Magi" done to "O Magnum Mysterium," sung by The Boys of St Paul's Choir School. Sort of a proof of concept so that I can now look around to do other art periods.

I liked DS9, but never liked that Jackson Brown song...LOL. For some reason, Rock Stars complaining about being Rock Stars songs have always rubbed me the wrong way.

However, you did a nice job coordinating the music with the images, as ALWAYS! :-)

Spoken by one who really understands. Absolutely fascinating.

Probably because it had no meaning for me other than the melody, I found it compelling. I actually almost never listen to lyrics unless I want to work with a piece. It’s almost always the melody for me.

Yes...the melody is really nice.

Here are some “Rock Songs about Rock Stars complaining about being Rock Stars”:

(((Just for the record)))

1. The aforementioned Jackson Brown Song
2. “Piano Man” by Billy Joel (He really hates his regular Saturday Night gig, which is doing what he loves, getting paid, and being tipped and complimented by adoring fans. How repugnant! LOL!)
3. “Turn The Page” by Bob Seger. (I love Bob Seger but REALLY hate this song! LOL!)

Of course, that is just my humble opinion. As one who has made my living making music for nearly a half-century! LOL!
