I work in the fundraising realm and from what I’ve heard around the “watercooler”, the democrats have been told that this is the hill to die on. They feel that without illegals, they can’t win any future national elections. They want to use illegals to permanantly flip Florida, VA and possibly a mid-west state permanantly and put Texas, NC and Georgia in play.
They’ll back down, but not after their fundraising ticks up.
Oh, their communications shop has also been working with themedia to make the loss look like a win. Look for that coordnated message starting this morning too..
They won by losing.
