Posted for your edification and enjoyment.
I wonder how many prison gals are knitting escape ropes?

(The above is not a statement of fact. It is either satire or opinion. Or both.)

They don’t know about heat lamps for the coups?

There is a men’s prison in Indiana, where they make quilts, including for veterans, cancer patients, etc. If inmates can spend their time doing something creative and useful, they are probably more likely to have a chance to live among humanity again in the future. JMHO
Thanks for sharing this story.

I'm guessing they are “free-range” chickens and are outside eating and stuff. About the only way that “sweater” is going to keep that chicken warm is if she's too embarrassed to be seen wearing it, and stays in her warm coup all day.

Thanks for posting this story as I’m currently living in Gig Harbor — my wife got a hoot out of it!

(Funny, nowadays having a big butt can either be a good thing (Kardashians) or a bad thing!)

The women prison here also runs a dog boarding/grooming program that has received high praise for providing usable training that the inmates can use once they are released.

Um, chickens have feathers and they modulate their body temperature with them.

I still remember when idiots demanded President John Kennedy clothe Caroline’s horse. Something like 35,000 people signed the petition.

It’s a sweet thing to do and I’m hoping encourages a kindness in the whole environment where they are. Always good to encourage goodness.

Even better than I could have imagined. My fave is the second to last. There’s got to be a good ‘hybrid’ name for that one.
