Injecting minute amounts of two immune-stimulating agents directly into solid tumors in mice can eliminate all traces of cancer in the animals, including distant, untreated metastases, according to a study by researchers at the Stanford University School of Medicine.
The approach works for many different types of cancers, including those that arise spontaneously, the study found.

On that note, if it's true, I hope these researches don't end up dying all of the sudden, from a heart attack or a fiery car crash while driving a Prius.

This seems like one of those ho-hum reports, even in the journal it doesn’t get top billing, that is truly life-changing. Any nothing I read or could understand says this can’t occur tomorrow. Besides, part of the treatment is already approved. How many people would this affect? How many saved each year? How much money saved?
I hear you.
Why do we read of these successes, and then nothing more about them?
“Why do we read of these successes, and then nothing more about them?”
Because if they did cure cancer then the American Cancer Society would be out of work and people wouldn’t need health insurance nearly as badly.
THink about it.
There’s the rub. Those that have watched a family member or friend die from that monster, like me and my family did, want it yesterday.
Those that haven’t been effected by it, don’t care about it, today or tomorrow.
As long as the money comes rolling in. Hate to get too political, but it’s really not that much different than the climate change folks. They have to keep it going to make a living.
But with this, it is different in the fact that there is more research to be done on so many other things.
The secondary issue is that small medical offices in foreign countries will try to do this, have some success and people will start to flock to these off shore labs to get these treatments. And some will die from shoddy or improper medicines.
That is why the President talking about cutting some of the FDA rules is so wonderful.
And cancer treatment is highly profitable to big pharmacies. They don’t want to lose that huge revenue stream from current drugs.
The FDA had better fast track this treatment.
Only 25% of original studies can be replicated.
If there is any truth to this and it is found to work on humans, expect this article to be the last found in print. As has been mentioned big Pharma, ACS, and a host other large organizations have a huge financial stake in perpetuating this disease(s). Clandestine ‘accidents’ are probably already planned and are being dusted off as we read this.
While I agree with everything you say, the worst part about it is, it’s all true. The amount of money lost from Big Pharma’s wallet couldn’t be calculated. As if there isn’t anything else they couldn’t be working on. There are diseases and viruses that haven’t even been discovered yet. Hell, it’s not like there isn’t enough patients to go around. And with thing like ALS, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s and so many others, it’s not like there isn’t other work to be done.
