Little update here regarding "exit moved up." So Hicks helped him with the response. Looks like there might be some libel litigation in regards to the accusations.

Every man with an ex wife, and the relationship is not amicable, should be shaking in his boots right now.

Yep. Feminist and lawyer interests tossed out adultery considerations and brought no-fault divorce into law. Since then, courts and employers have been acting on accusations without convictions.

Interestingly, large portions of the arrests for domestic violence in many jurisdictions since then have been arrests of women.

Not fair, but the GOP does not need this kind of distraction right now. We just don’t. He can be brought back on board later, after the mid-terms if the republicans do well.

Agreed. That’s why the post is in the chat topic. No sense in letting it waste people’s time.

I wonder if this is going to drag Hope Hicks down, as well or become a distraction that will limit her effectiveness?

I doubt that it will affect her work. She’s been proven to have exceptional intellect, discipline and hide thickness.

She is stunning.

Nothing can touch her.

Well, Rob Porter can touch but, I digress...

Maybe… having an exceptional intellect is helpful in life but those are different characteristics than values and more importantly, virtues that guide sound decision-making. My parents would have been horrified if their 20 something unmarried daughter hung out with a twice divorced man who ‘stayed over at her apartment’. Sure that was a different age…. but were they wrong?

She and Melanie are a great 1-2 punch in the WH. Although when Donna Shalala and Janet Reno were there it made me stand up and notice.

What makes you say that? I don't see anything in this story that indicates he is going to sue both of his ex-wives who both claim he physically abused them.

And at the same time.

That’s a good point, really. If a woman were with a twice-divorced man before the 1990s,... What about wealthy men? Or movie stars, both men and women, stalwarts of self-discipline and frugality? [Little irony there in that last phrase.]

Look at where we’re at today with questions of morality. Adultery as originally defined is normalized by courts, religious organizations and other institutions. Even the following is normalized, protected and favored in corporate, academic and government culture. Brando had many wives.

There are some hints, and those are as good as accusations.

For one, he said he wouldn’t engage “publicly.” He also said that he took the photos. The accusations also cost him quite a bit.

This dirty laundry wouldn’t have been aired in any other administration. Setting aside his guilt or innocence, the point is the demonrats will do anything to tarnish the Trump administration.

Well, all of the women involved in accusing, yes. There are also many women who do *not* want to make Hillary’s loss a domestic dispute situation in the minds of many.

Most of them are making unsupported accusations, each, with single anecdotes (stories) to collectively portray men in general as being evil, a tactic taught in university women’s studies courses, English and journalism courses, psychology courses. criminal justice schools, nursing schools, and other medical schools.

Collectively, they seek to sway more women, mainly, and men who’ll say anything to please and get something, to vote against conservatives, because...feminism and opportunism.

But many younger people now aren’t falling for it. Many of them are decidedly nonpolitical (see Vaclav Havel, nonpolitical politics in Czech and Poland, fall of the Soviet Union, infusion of anarchy in Soviet youth from western influences, “Cult Fiction”).

Look at where we’re at today with questions of morality.

The left has argued for a long time that Bill Clinton could carry on the way he did and still be a good president. But is that even possible? Not a chance. Are not observations about how someone behaves in their ‘private life’ a clear indication of how they will behave in their public life? How is it really possible to separate the two and 'compartmentalize' as the left is fond of saying?

2 Corinthians:14 Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?

Psalm 1:1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. 2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

The timing is interesting. It reminded me of the “six ways to Sunday” that Schumer stated as to how the Deep State can get back at Trump. TheFBI had been doing the background investigation on him for over a year and decided to drop this nugget when things are heating up on the investigation. Why now? Who else do they have dirt on. Was this a message to Trump?
