For many years, I've lived in "Open Range" country.

It's actually a dangerous place. Many cows are killed from vehicles that drive too fast at night. And, yes, sadly, on occasion people are killed by these collisions.

There are signs everywhere too indicating that this is Open Range, yet people (city folks, I imagine) still drive way too fast at night through this Open Range desert. I guess they can't imagine that a herd of cattle could be in the road. And at night, you just can't see them until it's too late.

Ok, sorry to highjack the thread. Yes, the movie was pretty good, as I recall.

You'd think with LED rechargeable lights being as cheap as they are, you'd fit out the herd with them.

Be hard to miss that...
