What are your thoughts on....

“Russian citizens may not own guns that shoot in bursts or have magazines with more than a ten-cartridge capacity.”

Maybe the Russians are on the right track. Do we need these type of guns and if so, for WHAT PURPOSE ?

I figure most of America would need high capacity magazines and auto fire if it was available if Hitlery Clinton had successfully purchased the crown of America.

The number one purpose of the Second Amendment is to keep the government at least pretending to not have a secret police state. It is also to keep them remembering that term limits if not enforced by ballots will be enforced with bullets.

Just listen to the rhetoric from the left right now, wishing that all white people were dead along with police and Christians. The ONLY thing keeping them in check is the second Amendment.

Funny thing about the Constitution, it is plain text. When a “Federal Judge” interprets the Constitution to say what it plainly does not say, that falls under the heading of an unlawful order. I am not going to argue with him, but I am not going to think his “legal opinion” is worth a hill of beans.

You know the only difference between Judicial Slavery and freedom?

My and all the other American battle rifles out there. Don’t tread on me means something.

I AM your freedom. Me and a hundred million more like me.

That is why “big clips” and “scary” black rifles. To keep evil men in line. The rifles have to be scary, so that we never have to shoot them. Rotten governments don’t kill kids a dozen at a time, they kill people in the MILLIONS. I am not going to freak out about some jerk on prozac, I am far more worried about some FBI on socialism.

To fight back against government forces that will be sent to take them away the next time we get an Obama or a Hillary.

Why do you think the Russians could be on the right track by prohibiting weapons that shoot in bursts or have more than a 10 round capacity?

In answer to your question, IMO it goes back to securing the 2nd Amendment. There should be NO INFRINGEMENT!! Once started, they will keep chipping away until we are restricted to sling shots and knives. We do not need a full auto AK or AR to hunt deer, but we they are real nice gadgets to have in case the likes of Hitlery get in power.

It’s not about guns, its about our culture drifting ever leftwards creating more criminals, school shooting nut jobs and violent gangs. This alone is reason to own something with a little firepower.

You are really asking that here?

Why do I “need” a firearm? It doesn’t matter. I CAN own a firearm.

"Maybe the Russians are on the right track. Do we need these type of guns and if so, for WHAT PURPOSE ?"

To have a nation of people who are more prepared to defend their country if needed. Older Americans, as long as each is competent, can participate by being trained and helping to train younger people. Our Second Amendment right also makes more people in the United States more understanding and amenable to national defense and the needs of our armed forces. A strong defense is necessary for more peace between nations.

Our Second Amendment right is also our gauge of the health of U.S. society. When I was a child in the 1960s, most Americans in rural areas and suburbs owned firearms but would *not* think of using them against their neighbors. Most of the rare murders involving firearms involved drunkenness back then. Violent crime was higher in our largest urban areas, especially drug-ridden urban areas with many people newly arrived from other countries.

If local enforcement were used to separate drug users and drunks from firearms only until each is clean and drug free for some reasonable period, our problem with murders will be mostly solved. Federal laws of the same kind would *not* be helpful, because federal government tends to want to bar people from possessing firearms for the rest of their lives with no reasonable remedy for recovering their right. That kind of policy on the federal level can have the deleterious effects of lowering national morale, provoking more distrust and exacerbating problems with addictions.

If you want more open policy discussion, there it is. It can be used to help own's own nation. If knowledge of it is used in attempts to harm another nation, though, such efforts will backfire.

We've found that more than ever, inquiring people of many generations of U.S. heritage discern more of what's really being done than donors and agents of dishonest convincing political speech realize. People of such heritage in the U.S.A. tend to be inhibited and slow about stepping in to get involved, but we do tend to surprise enemies of freedom in the most dire times of need.

One thing that we have learned in recent times, is that foreign populations that are addicted to empire (communism, fascism, monarchy: more centralized government) and feel safer with empire will take some time to adapt to having and loving more freedoms and being more kind and fair to their own countrymen.

It's true that we Americans have taken a tangent away from traditional morality for nearly 50 years, but human beings always return to what is more natural and what works better for them (G-d, family, country, and in that order).
