How quickly you forget that the abortion lobby used this reasoning to support ‘a woman’s right to choose’. Their argument then was absurd, and they will not catch the absurdity now.

But after the school ban the politicians could pass another law banning amusement parks, because children gather there.
Then they could ban summer camps, because children gather there.
Then ban Sunday school, because children gather there.
Then ban large families because...children.
The list goes on and on.
C’mon Laz, you know we have to ensure permanent employment for our elected masters.
That cartoon needs to go to every liberal, principal, teacher and school committee nationwide.
Maybe even every school kid and their parents.

Yes, and demand that people have waiting periods and background checks before they can receive driver licenses... picket for comprehensive legislation that will limit the vehicle styles available for purchase, due to which models are used in mass plowing-down events. Put some plants on CNN spewing about how POTUS will not do anything to help, ...
If we could just get some funding for mass demonstrations, and time off work, and help from the MSM to promote our message, etc., etc.

Why not try the old formula/policy that made our schools safe in the past: "Thug Free Zone!"
And that was not a pointless sign but a rigidly enforced policy. But the sign will convert very easily:
I can't remember one of today's little savage school shooter whose prior record of school behavior would not have - in my day - had them kicked out and sent to jail, reform school or special disciplinary school (that had hard ass teachers that knew how to teach fear to those who could not be taught anything else).

I knew a guy, tangentially, that made a big show of protesting an adult book store that was about to open. She be handed mea flyer announcing a protest , he said “We don’t want pedophiles that close to the school.”” I told him they needed to shut down the school, and got just the reaction you describe. He was caught with his pants down with his nephew shortly thereafter.
Seriously, a dead teach and school kids helps them sell gun control.
So why are schools not allowed to arm themselves?
Because it would be devistating to the liberal/progress cause if this massacres stopped and it was due to an armed teacher.
It is even worse than that.
They don’t WANT the problem solved. Being the Alinsky acolytes they are, they don’t want it solved, they want to prolong it, inflame it and make it worse.
All the better to achieve their ultimate goals, one of which is the total ban on private ownership of firearms.
Only someone who is mentally ill, lacks impulse control, lashes out in uncontrollable anger, or deliberately plans an act of revenge against perceived enemies (real or imagined) misuses a gun based on their own personal and selfish motives.
It's not a gun issue. It's a mental health issue.

Time to start the lawsuits and sue Disney over their constant glorification of gun violence via the very popular “Marvel” movies....I’m being dead serious when I say that if even ONE of the big Marvel movies was seen by this murderous thug, then I hope some of the victims sue them and other Hollywood gore-mongers out of business since they are SO CONCERNED about the kids.
Laz used to eat the children all the time. I think he gave it up. They were too fattening.
