Franklin was at Angola to minister. He witnessed their work and asked them to make his fathers casket. 100% on board.

Obama, piss be upon him, has not even commented on the passing of Reverend Graham.
I am concerned that this will be expected for the, “reverends” Jackson and Sharpton in due course.

He has commented. Let’s get things correct.

FORMER PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA

“Billy Graham was a humble servant who prayed for so many — and who, with wisdom and grace, gave hope and guidance to generations of Americans.”

I live in Charlotte, yes he would receive the same outpouring in the south... but Obama would do the bare minimum and try to make it about himself in some way. Obama is a horrible human being but he is smart and this is an election year.

JUST WONDERING....

But did any one hear or read of any comment from Hillary Clinton, regarding the passing of the Rev. Dr. Graham? Is she out of the Country like Bill is? Saw where he gave a speech somewhere in London but didn’t really pay attention to it.. so maybe they are traveling together...

Maybe there are looking for a new home to purchase? will the media share if they do? again just wondering.

I also like Vanity posts as much as a regular post with an article. I like to hear other peoples thoughts and I hate when people bitch and moan because someone posted a Vanity. So keep posting!!

No, it does not matter.
Obama should be hanged.
That’s my thought.

He did tell me that a prisoner at, I think Angola Prison had made the caskets for Billy and Ruth Graham.

Franklin Graham
February 23 at 7:29am ·

Yesterday afternoon my father’s body was brought from the funeral home to the Billy Graham Training Center at The Cove in Asheville, NC. His simple plywood casket, like my mother’s, was hand built by convicted murderers at the Angola Prison in Louisiana about twelve years ago and seems to suit him. We have a Bible with him in the casket, and the casket is directly behind a pulpit. We felt this was symbolic since he stood behind a pulpit most of his life preaching the Gospel. Billy Graham preached about Heaven, wrote books about Heaven—now he is IN Heaven. His faith has become sight.

Billy Graham brought Christ to many lives. So many that no matter who was in charge they would need to honor him . The political cost of ignoring him would not be worth any gains in the lefts battle against God.

It was read the McConnell and Ryan had contacted the Graham family to ask if they would approve. They felt honored and gave approval.

Now Rev. Graham lies In State (much like Sen. Teddy K) Will he receive the praise and accolades like old Teddy? Doubtful, at least from the left field.

His death has shown many a mad dog amongst us.

NORTH WOODY - welcome aboard the Trump Train aka Free Republic; MAGA.

Maybe I'm one as I shared a few views which aren't the norm but aren't hateful or disrespectful either. Just honest for where I am now. I just wonder about things. I did some research on some distant relatives who had been killed in the Oklahoma City bombing. They did years of extensive missionary work in Africa, and are of the Wheaton school, same as Rev. Graham and his wife.

We know it would be different - but it is what it now is - no conjecture can change that.

Billy is with God and no longer cares what anyone on earth does/says/thinks - he did tremendous good and the living know and remember that - later on we won't likely bow to him or kiss his ring - there will be a bigger "Him" to give our attention to.

Yes, he tweeted. After doing so Liberals beat him for attempting to carry on with his faux Christian persona (according to this article).

Considering how small our X-president is, of course, this would be doubtful. However he does have his LEGACY to prop up. Rev. Graham, serving many a president(both liberals and conservative) refused to serve BO’B. The two men had such opposing views on ‘ABORTION’ Graham declined to do so.

Rev. Graham, funeral arrangements according to VOX https://www.vox.com/identities/2018/2/23/17042100/billy-graham-funeral-processional-capitol-lie-in-repose [snip] $200 plywood caskets were made for Graham and his late wife, Ruth, who died in 2007, by inmates of Louisiana State Penitentiary in Angola, Louisiana, a prison with a longstanding history of brutality and racial tension. The group of incarcerated men who built the caskets, a group who found faith in prison, was led by Richard Liggett, who was serving a life sentence for second-degree murder (Liggett also died in 2007 shortly after the Grahams’ coffins were completed). According to the Washington Post, Graham had requested that his and his wife’s caskets be made by prisoners at the penitentiary after preaching there in 2005, a request that a prison warden later described as providing prisoners with the “the most profound” opportunity to celebrate their faith. According to the Billy Graham Association, no upgrades or improvements were made to the casket after Graham’s death, at Graham’s request. [snip]

You have certainly shown no indication you are a mad dog. They have very loud barks and very sharp teeth and not adverse to using either.

Is it NOT OK to have different views or to speak of them, talk about them? (respectfully, of course) If society were not inquisitive, we would be going nowhere, many of us in the dark.

Yes, this is a vanity post. Anything written by the poster that is not published elsewhere is considered a vanity.

I seriously doubt Obama would allow such accolades for Rev. Graham.

Thank you for your cordial response re opinions about Rev. Graham. Sometimes differences of opinion escalate around here at lightning speed and one can't help get caught up in some of it at times. I try not to jump on people I might initially disagree with but admit I haven't always been that way or handled things more adroitly.

Blessings to you.
