A very good start would be to ask ourselves why we defend things that mean absolutely nothing with teams of armed security, and leave totally undefended and defenseless those who mean everything.
We are not being honest with ourselves, and until we are honest with ourselves, this is going to continue to happen.
There is no way to “make sure this never happens again”. It’s going to happen again.
The question is are we going to be prepared for it when it does? So far, the answer is Hell no, and as far as I can tell, we want it to happen again.

That is by far the best analysis I have heard regarding this matter.
I’m in KY. I see Bevin as an articulate Trump.
Both are successful businessmen who ran for political office and won. Both are bringing rational, as opposed to political, solutions to problem. And the difference is that rational solutions may actually cause pain at first. But that is because they are “real” solutions.

Something has to be going on in these “schools” to send these killers over the edge and want to murder their classmates. I noticed in his picture that little Nikolas wasn’t wearing an NRA hat. I guess he wasn’t a member so it couldn’t have been the NRA that sent him on his deadly killing spree.
