The problem accelerated when the power elite started organizing themselves in secret societies.
If we enact legislation to oversee the activities of all government officials, and eliminate the conspiracy of secrecy, we can stop the advance of progressivism.
First, the swamp needs to be drained.
I believe President Trump and AG Sessions have embarked on the mission to do this.
Let me get this straight.
If you’re a deep state person you’re thinking “hmmm...We must be the greatest geniuses who ever lived. We lied, we stole, we murdered and we did it all in secret.”
Meanwhile, you’ve characterized yourselves as disgusting, disgraceful scum whose schemes and strategies require nothing more than street level thuggery. Just brilliant.
Pinging Phil Mudd, J Brennan, V Jarrett, Z-big and his crowd, Cass Sunstein and all the Soros employees who have no clue how much the deep state despises them.
Graph from 2014
That Graph from 2014 certainly doesn’t show all of ex _resident Obozo’s EO’s. The problem I see coming down the pike is all of the EO’s that President Trump is going to have to issue just to get rid of his predecessor’s bad/wrong/beyond useless EO’s. Couple that with the one’s he has already issued and it will look like he’s a piker.
Where’s Woodrow Wilson???
Executives orders are legal as long as they are based on laws that are reasonably based on a power that the states have expressly constitutionally delegated to the feds.
Otherwise, executive orders based on stolen state powers are unconstitutional.
And an even bigger problem than unconstitutional executive orders is when the corrupt, post-17th Amendment ratification Congress lets a likewise corrupt president get away with making unconstitutional executive orders.
Repealing the ill-conceived 17th Amendment would put a major dent in stopping unconstitutional executive orders imo.
The 16th Amendment can disappear too.
Patriots need to support Pres. Trump by electing a Congress in 2018 that will not only support Trumps vision for MAGA, but will also respect state sovereignty.
In the second graph.
Obamas appointees subverted entire agencies and executed regulatory guides lines that dwarf all of his EOs. The corruption of the Federal government and the usurpation of our Constitution by executive agencies has been commonplace since the 1970s. Obama was just more blatant. A huge part of the government operates without oversight or accountability and judicial recourse only exacerbates the problems.
that graph is relatively useless as it does not help understand when the problem began.
One could rightfully as well as wrongfully make the conclusion that this all started with FDR.
The devil is always in the details. I suspect that with both FDR and Wilson, a certain percentage of EOs are nothing more than wartime related items. (WWI and WWII respectively)
With regard to Wilson and Coolidge, I suspect that Coolidge had a lot to deal with in undoing the garbage that Wilson enacted from the presidency.
But there was no major war in the 1900s - except the war conducted by the executive branch against the constitutional sovereignty of the legislative branch. And also the states.
Can we say uniparty? As you have noted, the legislative branch has been ‘turning a blind eye’ on this corruption for far to long.
‘The Who’ stated it succinctly when they wrote the lyrics, “meet the new boss, same as the old boss.” It may be, that this time, the final phrase will also come to pass, “we won’t get fooled again.”
Far too many are invested in their Kabuki teams. The heat rises without light. The cancer of tribalism is elevated to a virtue renamed diversity and the devil laughs at the vanity of man.
“I will give children to be their princes,
And babes shall rule over them. The people will be oppressed,
Every one by another and every one by his neighbor;
The child will be insolent toward the elder,
And the base toward the honorable.”
The founding fathers were well versed in secret societies.
The issue is that our Congress has become more of a career. And as D.C. Grew, so did the inability to get shit done. Thus, EOs rule the day.
Doesn’t make secret societies right.
And doesn’t take away from the good the founding fathers did.
Focus for a minute: secret societies are separate and independent of America’s founding principles.
The founding documents do not establish secret societies. To do that requires stepping away completely from the elevated arena of Constitutional principles in a downward direction, passing through the land of average ideas, and then again stepping very far downward into the malodorous quagmire of all that is corrupt.
Note: it wasn’t the founders’ intellect that tempted some of them to be secretive.
The inability to get things done is wholly enabled by the inclination to secrecy.
Keep in mind, secrecy and lying are twins.
